Since you can't FTP them it's probably not an option yet, but if you
haven't worked with PTF loads (and upgrades) from image catalogs yet they
are VERY easy to use and work very well. I was surprised how simple and
handy they are.

Has anyone been successful in burning v5r4 cumulative ptfs to media?.have
patiently downloaded the cumulative ptfs for v5r4 and find I can not find
the correct combination to burn them to cd--the last two cd's in the set
are
iso images and burn to cd no problem (I suspect they are the hipers and db
ptfs).but the volumes 1 - 6 are in udf format (according to IBM)..I have
not been successful in copying them to media in a useable manner for
install.have used several different products and a pile of cds.currently
unable to just ftp images over to new 525.media order made but not
delivered..
