Rich,
Thanks for the suggestion. I will take a look at your product.
Unfortunately, we don't have any funds budgeted to purchase this type of
software so we are really looking for something already built into the
system or freeware. We did not know at budget time that the auditors
would be requesting the log in the other posting. However, we realize
our only solution may be to purchase something so we will reconsider it
after all other options have been reviewed. Thanks again.

Hello Diana,
Your email is dated June 29th, but it just arrived here in our
offices
today, July 8th. Not sure why the delay.
The only way that I know of to implement what you are looking for in
this
and your other email is to implement controls over the Telnet and FTP
exit
points on your system. This means coding your own exit programs, a
daunting exercise if you've never done exit point programming before.
As an alternative, I might suggest and affordable alternative. Our
software, SafeNet/400, will do this for you and much more. If all
you
are interested in is the IP address controls and the logging, then
our
SafeNet/400 Lite product will do for you and carries a price of
$1,095.00. It is available for a free 30 day trial if you're
interested
in bringing it in and seeing what it might do for you.
You can see information about SafeNet/400 Lite at the following web
address:

A description of our more robust SafeNet/400 line is at this web
address:

If you have any questions, just let me know.
