We have 12 boxes in our data center and none are "under service". We
generally do our own. The 200K number seems very low.

Actually, Don, systems under service is misleading as thousands of customers
with older model systems do not have them under maintenance and yet they run
their business daily on System/36, early AS/400 models....they just keep on
working!!
The last number I heard several years ago is most likely not accurate today.
IBM marketing does have a total shipped since S/3x days and number under
service.
