I don't know about the newer systems but the older units were set up in
such a way that water coming down onto them didn't do much damage. We
had one customer with a water heater that burst in the room above their
620. Water poured down on it all weekend until we powered it off

I've heard of water-cooled PC's but leave it to IBM to pioneer a
technology for the midrange community!
My wife worked at a place where they had a soda fountain hooked up for
staff and special event use. Whoever did the plumbing on it did something
wrong because it ended up leaking. It was on the 3rd floor of the
building and got hooked up on a Saturday. When they came in on Monday
morning it looked like it was raining on the two lower floors. Luckily,
there was mostly open space, metal and plastic furniture below and not a
lot of damage. Mostly soaked carpets.
