Rikascom.net provides timeshare for iSeries development and will provide
you a CD of WDSC for like 20$ USD (the cost of producing and shipping)
WDSC is not per-user licensing. If you have the compilers you have
WDSC....

Thanks,
Tommy Holden

Mea culpa - thanks for the correction.

I've used this service for some time - John Ross provides a fine
service here to the community. Several people on this list are also
clients of NetShare400 and even develop some products there.

I don't remember what John does about WDSC - if interested, email him
- it's not been an issue for me because I also get it through past
and current employers. Maybe John can be convinced to set up
something - he does allow a VPN connection if you need it, e.g. There
ARE other options that he MIGHT have set up - again, contact him first,
please.

Vern

It's www.netshare400.com (the site you mentioned is a job site).

Also, the Machine is running on V5R2 and I saw no mention that you can
download WDSC anywhere.

According to this page:

WDSC is licensed per-user. And with 2500CHF at a quite hefty price tag.

Lukas - you might be aware of a timesharing iSeries -
www.netshare.com - very reasonable monthly cost to have a test iSeries.
