Think of all the publicity they get when we call it the iSeries/AS400 they
get twice the value.

Perhaps it's time for IBM to realize they, like CocaCola, REALLY screwed up
and need to rename it BACK to AS/400....:)

Damn that was too good to passup...:)

Steve,

The AS400 is no longer available for purchase. I think you mean a System i.
And, FWIW, Microsoft do ~not~ run their business on AS/400. The rumor is now
that the company to whom they outsource their accounting is a System i user.

Come into the 21st century with us and our System i.

a fun interview. the interviewer has actually worked with as400s.

Did not know you can use HIS to create web services that call as400
programs. In the demo the wizard reads the source code and identifies
the parameters of the program. Is this new?

no mention of the AS400s MSFT runs its business on ;)
