I've suggested a number of times that people should just use the socket server
that comes with the box - namely the Apache based server - rather than write
their own. It's there. It's efficient. It supports SSL. You'll eventually
use it for Web applications.
On the other hand. If IBM were to add multi-thread support to RPG, and someone
wanted to write a scaled-back socket server in RPG, I'd be interested in it.
