I asked about plug ins with WDSC about a year ago
and they said that they were not going that direction because there was
no customer requests for that direction.

Interesting that they say that. I asked them about it probably four years
ago and they said the same thing. Maybe they are not understanding that
when a customer asks if a feature exists it is pretty much the same as a
feature request.
