What would a 4.7GHz i5 end up having for CPW on an "un-governed" machine? I
am guessing for a 515 it would be somewhere in the neighborhood of
3800x2=7600??!! Nice!!

Subject: Power6 on System i
I heard from a co-worker, who was at COMMON UK, that Frank Soltis announced
that there were new System p models using the Power 6 technology where the
chip speed is 4.7 GHZ with no special cooling requirements. Apparently Intel
could not do this and had to withdraw their fast processors from the market
a while back. He was thrilled.
When they pre-announced last year clock speeds of 4-5 in the press some
analysts called them liars. He seemed vindicated.
He also mentioned to expect new System i models NEXT year using this
technology.
