I'm working on the same thing right now. Google encryption RPG Cozzi and
you'll find links to Bob Cozzi's articles on encryption. he provides some
sample code too. I think this project is snowballing, because it has grown
to handle key management, and logging who views/changes the unencrypted
data, and who sees the report that shows the data that was changed.....

I have been asked to encrypt data (one field) in a Physical File. We
have a 520 at V5R3. Are there utilities available on the System I or do
I need to use a Tool from a vendor?
