I know that everyone keeps saying attendance was up. But I personally
wonder how much this has to be attributed to the fact that this is the only
"large" conference being offered this year. I know there is the Technical
Conference in the Fall but it is limited to approximately 400 people and
from the list of topics - I know I won't be asking my manager to budget for
it.

Jim,
Session content was UP from Fall 2006. There was lots of new stuff in
many areas especially PHP and such things. All the good speakers update
material almost every conference occasionally re-writing entire
sessions. The sessions I had opportunity to attend were spot up to date
on content and there were certainly plenty to choose from!

Aside from the after hours, can anyone speak to the content of the
sessions?
Was there updated material in the sessions?
New sessions on latest stuff?
More hands on or lab sessions?
For those of us who fund Common expenses personally, this is important.
