I know that in the past the "hotel requirement" for locals has been
waived. I don't think that this is indicated on the registration form
so one might need to contact COMMON headquarters to get the waiver.


That said, Tommy won't be there. Heck, he won't even go to the LUG
meeting when (a) it's free, and (b) he's co-author of the presentation
and all he has to do is eat and sit in the back of the room and smile.
.-) If he does show up, though, let's all pile into his SUV and take a
ride to Tootsie's or some real sleazy honky tonk (I'm sure he knows all
of them).
