I see in the archives where multiple print writers can be started for a
single outq and the result is the load is essentially balanced between the
printers.
If I have 2 identical Zebra label printers, why could I not start 1 of them
for form PKGLBL from outq ZEBRA, and start the other for form RCVGLBL from
the same outq. All PKGLBL would go to 1 printer and all RCVGLBL to the
other, automagically. Then, at the end of the workday when the RCVGLBL have
all finished and we have a humongous (sp?) amount of PKGLBL to run, change
the 2nd printer to also run PKGLBL. This sounds so simple, am I missing
something?
When we get these printers into production, I'm going to try that.
