How do I tell if IT Director is running (programmatically)?
In iNav I can click on
Network, Servers, User Defined, and that tells me if it is started.
It is currently started.
Tried right clicking and selecting server jobs. None appeared.
Statement of problem:
Tried to vary on an iScsi. Died with CPD22B4, error number 3489. Refers
you to CPE3489. Which refers you to your Ouija board. Additional message
in the joblog that tried the vary on is CPFC40E-Cannot connect to IBM
Director Server, reason code 4. Which says:
Wait five minutes and try again. If you are still unable to connect to
Director Multiplatform, end and restart the *DIRECTOR TCP/IP server by
specifying ENDTCPSVR SERVER(*DIRECTOR) and STRTCPSVR SERVER(*DIRECTOR).
Repeat the request.
Director is set to start when TCP/IP is started. The VRYCFG wasn't ran
until 25 minutes after the system was started.
