Hi Paul,

I looked at the Rumba options myself and everyone at our
> organization has the auto connect and auto disconnect options
> selected.

Nonono.. I'm referring to the auto-signon option. Auto-connect is not related.

(Auto-connect basically skips the need to click the "connect" button when you load a Rumba profile. But I'm talking about Auto-Sign-On which sends the userid and password automatically to the iSeries, and that's where the invalid password attempt is coming from)

Any suggestion you could provide to clear this ongoing problem would
be great, we have a limit of 5 invalid signons before the user
profile is disabled!

Here's a document that describes how to set up auto-sign-on.
(It was on our Intranet Web server for our employees to use, but I'm going to stick it on my web site temporarily so you can see what I'm talking about.) What you'll want to do to solve the problem is a little different from what the document describes. You'll want to do the OPPOSITE, and DELETE the profile from the "Security" screen, and also UN-check the "auto-sign-on" option in Rumba.

But the screen shots in this web page should make it much clearer what I'm referring to:
