Ya my dad was a TV guy back in the 60's before they mandated bleed off
resistors on CRTs. There was a guy who always stole his lunch. Right in
front of him too. "What ya got for lunch today Bill" then he'd swipe the
sandwich or something. So dad told him not to do that or he'd wonder
what hit him. Next day he wired the CRT to the bottom of the lunch box
(all metal in them days.) Told the guy not to touch it the next noon.
Said he was serious. The guy didn't believe him. Then the guy found
himself on the floor cussin and wingin his arm around. No more lunch
theft. :-)

<snip>

As I recall replacing that isn't trivial but with the drill driver it's not
terrible either.

From the Desk of iGor.....

Another small piece of advise. Use your favorite digital device to take
pictures as you take it apart. If you miss a screw, it means something.
Most importantly the cables tend to look a lot alike and as you are
dismantling things, it all looks very clear, right up until the phone
rings, or another distraction comes along. The pictures make it very clear
how to re-assemble. Also, don't be afraid to label cables BEFORE you pull
them. You would be surprised how many times we have stood there wondering
which one of those stupid power outlet plugs were supposed to be used.

One last warning. If you know what a capacitor is, have a healthy respect
for this stuff. If you are unaware of what a capacitor is and does, you
may find out the hard way. Careful out there in them woods.......
