I would suggest IPL from the install CDs and use them to wipe out the entire system at once. That'll clean off everything on the system much faster than deleting the objects manually.

If you must delete stuff from the IFS manually, then QShell can easily delete a directory recursively:

        STRQSH CMD('rm -rf /path/to/dir')

However, be very careful, since there are parts of the operating system that are stored in the /QDLS and / (root) filesystems of the IFS. Also, the IFS provides access to other computer's drives (Windows networking, NFS, QFileSvr.400, etc) and it also provides an alternative way to access your traditional libraries and objects. So use discretion about what you delete!

It's far simpler and quicker to reinstall the LIC, using the option that wipes out the drives first, and then re-install the operating system. That way, you'll have a usable system, and you know you'll have nothing on it except the operating system itself.
