We do use SQL naming for the data in this project, so by default is *PUBLIC set 
to *EXCLUDE when an index is created. The CRTAUT parameter for the schema has 
no influence here.
I think that the only way to set the right permissions is to do a GRTOBJAUT or 
to use adopted authority as you proposed.
 
Are there known problems with using sql indexes as keyed logicals in 
traditional RPG programs?
