Jeff, Aren't you missing '^A0' somewhere? As in: * character height = 24 dots, character width = 30 dots. D CharFont C CONST('^A0,N,24,30') Glenn Gundermann ggundermann@xxxxxx (647) 272-3295
I have a dumb question (at least it seems dumb to me because I think this should be simple). If I do a test page to the Zebra printer from Windows, it sets permanent changes in the printer. Then, when I send a spool file from my i5, it's not the settings I want (darkness, label width, etc.). So I made my label look like this: ^XA ^CFE,9,5^SD15^PW812^PR10,12,2 ^FO020,033,000^FD3317-4 L27 ^FS ^FO020,067,000^FDAdministrator/Food Srvce Dir ^FS ^FO020,100,000^FDScott's #17 Deli-Angola ^FS ^FO020,133,000^FDCountry Fair Shopping Ctr ^FS ^FO020,167,000^FDSt Road 127 North ^FS ^FO020,200,000^FDAngola, IN 46703 ^FS ^FO020,233,000^FD ^FS ^FO020,267,000^FDTue-50 ^FS ^FO020,300,000^FDATTN-Isle ^FS ^XZ Note that I am sending the font, darkness, label width, and print speed via ZPL commands. It seems to me that this should change those settings. But it doesn't. The settings remain the way Windows left them (or the way I manually set the front panel). This seems like it should be really simple, so I must be missing something obvious. (In looking at the Windows setup for the Zebra, I found a number of print preferences that said "Use driver settings" which I changed to "Use printer settings". That keeps Windows from changing the printer setup permanently, but doesn't address my real question as to why these commands sent in the i5 spool stream don't seem to have an affect.)
