It is correct that Mexico is not changing its DST rules this year.


If you are running V5R3 or later the system has time zone support with
TIMZON objects. Prior to 2007, Mexico, U.S., Canada, and Bermuda shared the
same time zone rules and could share the same TIMZON object in i5/OS. Now
that Mexico no longer shares the same rules, i5/OS has created new time
zone objects to support systems using Mexico time zone if you want to use
them.
