I thought about that too, but it's been pointed out that you may have to use the List Objects API in combination with the Retrieve Database File Description (QDBRTVFD) api to get enough granularity to determine if the file is a source physical or not. Qdbfhfsu File type (FILETYPE). If on, the file is a source file (*SRC). If off, a data file (*DATA). At this time, I would think querying the SYSTABLES file would be kicking.
