Some experts contend that DR systems should be at least 40 miles apart.
I don't buy in to that as a hard spec, but I would encourage you to
consider locating the systems so that a regional issue -- weather,
service provider (power, Telco), etc. -- would be extremely unlikely to
affect both locations.

There may be more cost-effective bandwidth options that T1 lines.
Consult your local Telco providers for details.  I don't know the
monthly fee but our MAN (Metropolitan Area Network) was recently
upgraded to full gigabit (GigaMAN service).  Also, when you buy the
bandwidth do a study to determine how much you'll actually need.

If you're on a 720 supporting 100 users today you won't need a very big
machine.  You're probably a P20 tier now; I wouldn't be surprised if you
dropped to a P10 on the new hardware.

I second Steven's suggestion about the BP.  Besides a source for
hardware you can use them as a source for the HA software and
implementation services.
