Perhaps it is time to think about doing something similar. Rather than spend millions to attract a shrinking group of IT students, perhaps it is time to consider training workers laid off due to outsourcing etc.
I vote IBM speeds up the system to what the p5 quad cores can do. Then make the entire i5/OS threadsafe. This enables Java to be used as the native language of the system. There are a lot of Java programmers. -Steve
