I wrote a command, called RTVIPADDR that will take the 'Retrieve Device 
Description Information
      // (QDCRDEVD)' api and tell you the ip address currently associated 
with that 5250 session.  Now, this won't fit the bill for shared drives, 
iNav, odbc, etc.

Perhaps one of the other api's might?
