Hi Jim,

That should be enough. There are some VPN routers out there that support 
compression of the data stream. Since 5250 is burst traffic, that should help a 
lot.

How many users in a remote office can one reasonably support with a 
business dsl circuit 3.0 mbps downstream and 384 kbps upstream?
Each pc using Client Access (telnet).
Looking for actual experiences. This is for 2 remote sites of 
5 or so users each, and would be similar dsl at both iSeries & each 
remote site. Moderate accounting usage all day.
Is dsl too light for this? The 384 upstream scares me. 
Would plan some level of router to router tunnel.
