Excuse the idiocy in this question. We don't do a whole lot of SQL, usually very small updates that I do interactively but I have a large update to do and I would like to submit it to batch. How do I go about doing that?
Hi John Put your UPDATE statement in a source member and submit a RUNSQLSTM command. I tend to use my own EXCSQL <http://www.dbg400.net/cgi-bin/twiki/view/DBG400/ExcSql> to put it all on the one command line, but it's not exactly a lot of work to use RUNSQLSTM for an update. ;) Regards, Martin
