Are you using Outlook as a standalone Application, or are you using it as a Groupware client in a Microsoft Exchange environment? You mentioned GroupWise, so I'm going to assume you have an Exchange server. I wouldn't approach this problem with an application from the i5/OS side, since this lacks any sort of interface to Exchange. Instead, write a windows application which gets the data from your System i, and writes it to Exchange.
