Wayne, we did the IPL last night and the disk % dropped all the way down to 53%. For months at a time, the % ranges only from about 53 to 59 %. Yet, yesterday it jumped all the way up to 68% and the temporary space was at nearly 18%. Is there any specific area we could look into which could cause that unusual TEMP space jump? If you IPL the system, that storage will be released (not reclaimed, which is a different animal entirely). Don Cavaiani wrote:
OK - Now with the latest info, I see that the temporary space is the culprit - about 17.75% of the disk used for it. What is in that
space?

However, WRKSYSSTS shows 68.1 % system ASP used! Should these not calculate to
the same amount of free space?? Three days ago, WRKSYSSTS showed only 56% used. We know of nothing new recently being added to the system? Don F. Cavaiani IT Manager Amerequip Corp. 920-894-7063 'Treat every person with kindness and respect, even those who are rude
