Perhaps space object STRSQL session info is kept in got corrupted.  I'd try
getting rid of it and starting with clean slate.

Do STRSQL->F3->2 several times, until you get a totally clean, brand new
session.  Option 2 deletes the space object associated with the workstation
display.

Hooray!  That fixed it.

I started down that path last night, but apparently didn't repeat the
process (F3, opt 2)enough times to clear things out fully.
