Don't make your life too hard, Don. Just order these groups (at a minimum): SF99530 CUMULATIVE PTF PACKAGE C6255530 SF99529 GROUP HIPER SF99503 DB2 UDB FOR ISERIES SF99269 JAVA Actually the HIPER and DB2 groups should be included with the Cume. Also, if you have any WebsFear running just order the proper group for that and it will include the Java and HTTP Server groups. Set them all to apply at at your next IPL using GO PTF option 8, and specify Prompt for media option 3-Multiple volume sets and *SERVICE. This should fix all of your pre and co req problems, plus some that you don't even know you have. Is there a way to "shut off" the system value and go back to just changing QTIME as we used to? -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Neil Palmer Sent: Monday, December 18, 2006 4:09 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: Re: New time in 2007 - Catch 22 I don't think V5R3 has DSPJVMJOB, so to find stuff running Java on V5R3 you could try WRKACTJOB and then look in the Function column for anything listing JVM- "something" One possibility, Service Monitor (job QSRVMON in QSYSWRK).
