I agree about wanting to learn more. I am working on PHP here, as well. For now, I have no benchmarking - but when I do get a serious application installed, I should be able to compare PASE against Linux, and PASE MySql against PASE DB2.
If anyone has some of these numbers, I would be interested in seeing their comparisons.

Seems reasonable to someone with AS/400 syndrome, I expect :-)
Let's not rehash the debate over the name of the system. Let's defer to IBM, and call it a System i. And as far as PASE is concerned, I'm interested in learning more about it. PHP is so widely used that it makes sense for IBM to support it. But if it's subject to performance constraints, then it would be good to know about them. Just asking.
