Sigh. Any help on diagnostic steps to take would be helpful. Thanks, Pete Helgren
Pete, We went from an iSeries 820 (with IXA) to an i5/570 (with IXA) 3 months ago. Our IXA connection was the only part that failed on the "big" weekend, similar to your experience. Cabling turned out to be the least of our problems. Problem was the PC/xSeries (we had an x360) firmware. Refused to co-operate with the HSL2 that comes with the new i5's. 5 weeks after the main migration, we took 6 hours to update the firmware on the x360, moved the hardware, plugged it in and turned it on. Haven't looked back since. Hope this helps.
