I think that timescale is a little optimistic but it matters not, another one goes and one of the main reasons that the guy gives (although I feel it is just one excuse he can point to) is the lack of skilled programmers. Saying that he seems to have been on a crusade for about 9 years to replace the box. I personaly do not see it as there always seems to be enough going for the contracts against me, but it does seem to be re-iterated, like a broken record, by a number of people. Whatever the reason, another nail in the iSeries coffin.
