I am attempting to use f.t.p. with s.s.l. to send and receive files from a
bank. I have followed the instructions to create the *SYSTEM certificate store
and imported the "C.A." certificate provided by the bank. In addition, I have
added the "C.A." to the "Trusted List" of f.t.p. It seems I'm also supposed to
add the certificate to the application, but when I make that attempt, the
certificate is not available.

Now when I attempt to make the s.s.l. connection (ftp rmtsys('bankserver')
seccnn(*SSL)), I receive error 99, which is a generic error code that tells me
almost nothing.

A search of the archives and ibm.com has not turned up any assistance though I
may just be using the wrong keywords. I thought there was a redbook on this
subject, but I've been unable to locate it.

Any information on what I'm doing incorrectly or where a helpful manual might
be will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
