Good News Everybody!

A new search engine is coming soon.

As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Dave,

Are all three "O" products using the same i5 database? If not, is it
possible that the time has nothing to do with WebSphere but rather with
a missing index on the i5 DB, but not on the Windows DB?

As for WebSphere, ok, so it's a pig, we all know that, but it can run
quite smoothly. I assume vendor "V" (the maker of product "O") has a
"recommended" setup for WebSphere (minimum memory, processor, memory
pools, JVM settings, etc.) have you followed those settings?
