Dave, Are all three "O" products using the same i5 database? If not, is it possible that the time has nothing to do with WebSphere but rather with a missing index on the i5 DB, but not on the Windows DB? As for WebSphere, ok, so it's a pig, we all know that, but it can run quite smoothly. I assume vendor "V" (the maker of product "O") has a "recommended" setup for WebSphere (minimum memory, processor, memory pools, JVM settings, etc.) have you followed those settings? -Walden
