HMC Code, Firmware, & PTFs -- MIDRANGE-L

I think I've got this straight now.  HMC Code, Firmware, and PTFs are
all separate entities.  I was thinking that when I put on a new CUM that
I had to upgrade my Firmware.  I was confusing PTFs and Firmware.  I
want to make sure that when I upgrade my Firmware on the HMC that I also
make sure that My HMC Code is up to date as well.  I will review all
before a CUMe but I understand that the HMC Firmware, HMC Code thing is
not the same as putting on a CUMe.

 

At least I think I've got this straight.
