Updating MS Exchange from iSeries

Has anyone done any programming to update a Microsoft Exchange server
from an iSeries app, either Java or RPG? Exchange appears to support an
API based on WebDAV protocol. Doing some research I found a few
companies that see some middleware to make Java talk to Exchange. Just
wondering if anyone has actually done this. An example would be to post
an instructors class scheduled to their Exchange calendar or post an
employees vacation request to their calendar.
