Another i5 shop in this complex started a backup at Midnight Sunday 
morning.  At 9am Monday it was still slugging away doing the IFS save. 
Very far out of the ordinary.  No special save/restore software (like, no 
BRMS, etc), just OS.

He doesn't have the drive to pursue the problem very aggressively with IBM 
as to how this fluked out.

Hope I don't sound like the coworker who, if I make a simple security 
change all problems are then blamed on that - regardless how ridiculous 
the claim is.
In other words, the save I mentioned may have nothing to do with the time 
change.
