Anything less than 6 or so hours is just as fast or faster to simply drive instead of fly. 45 minutes to airport. Assume taxi so no time needed for parking. 2 hours to check in/get felt up by the TSA/wait to board. 30 minutes on the tarmac waiting to depart. *actual flight time* 20 minutes to get to baggage claim & get bag. 25 minutes to get rental car (check in/shuttle bus to remote lot/etc.). Reduce to 5-10 minutes if you get a taxi instead. Drive to destination. So, figure 4 hours + actual flight time + time to drive to destination. Compare that to driving directly from home to the destination. And I can easily get better food on the road than on a jet. John A. We drove to the conference in Minneapolis last spring. Having the Suburban there was handy for picking up the supplies for CUDS 2. One of Dr. Franken's cohorts lives in the Miami area, so he handled transportation for the supply run in September. Who's gonna step up to the plate for Anaheim?
