Re: Unattended IPL not running

I always to a WRKACTJOB SBS(QCTL) and put a 5, then a 1 in front of the 
subsystem itself.  On some machines I use QBASE instead of QCTL. WRKSBSJOB 
is not as good (for this use) because it doesn't allow you to select the 
subsystem itself.
Your technique seems to match on my system though.  Perhaps your system 
value, QSTRUPPGM is pointing to a different program?

But if you ARE having the issue with the schedule try the following:
GO POWER
1. Display power on and off schedule
Position cursor on title like of "Display Power On/Off Schedule".
F1=Help
Position cursor to "Scheduler problems".
Press Enter.
Read the following:

                  Power on and off schedule problems 
 
If the power on and off schedule does not seem to be working, ask 
the following questions: 
 
 o  Is the keylock switch on the system control panel in the Normal
    or Auto position? 
 
 o  Is the QSYSSCD job held? 
 
    If yes, then release it. 
 
 o  Is the QSYSSCD job running or active? 
 
    If not, stop and start cleanup.  If you don't want to use 
    cleanup set 'Allow automatic cleanup' to Y and 'Time cleanup 
    starts each day' to *NONE on the Change Cleanup Options display
 
 o  Is the Start Cleanup (STRCLNUP) command part of your startup 
    program? 
   If not, add it to your startup program.  See the Work Management
   Guide, SC41-8078 on how to change your startup program. 
 
       Note:  The shipped startup program comes with the STRCLNUP 
       command. 
 
o  Check the times specified.  Did you specify time based on the 
   24-hour clock (5:00 p.m.  =  17:00)? 
 
o  Do you have times specified on the correct days? 
 
   Note:  Do not schedule 2 power ons in a row without an automatic
   power off between them or the second power on may not work.
