Many west coasties like the east coast because you can skip the afternoon of a conference, fly back home and be home at a decent hour, with the time change. However, flying west to east is a pain because you either leave early am or most airports will be closed by the time you try to get back. Conference planners hope that the hassle of west coast conferences will keep you there for the full last day and then you'll just use the next day for travel. Yet there's still a lot of people who then blow off the whole last day. Although I'd be game to try Utah. I've yet to go to my eldest brother's house and he's been here several times. He lives just over in the Ogden/Roy area. Rob Berendt
