Perhaps home use is a little different than trying to run a muti TB / multi user application on the P5 vs. Intel hardware debate. OS being the same (linux). Not sure. You get into the server farm vs big box debate. But even that stretches when you talk about failover systems (think Mimix). Reduction of need does not equal elimination of need. I wonder if searching the following would show up some (real) reasons why some selected one hardware over the other. Basically a somewhat platform agnostic application actually being ran on multiple platforms. I know that there are some things about Linux I sure don't like. Like random reconfig's of tape drives at each IPL. Rob Berendt
