There is no problem sending binary data through a *DTAQ.  The only 
consideration I can think of would be the size of the signature and the 
MAXLEN you specify when creating the *DTAQ.  You may (or may not) have to 
worry about breaking up the signature data across multiple messages.

Non-character Data in Data Queue






Probably a dumb question, but is there any problem moving non-character 
data
in data queues? I need to move signature data that's stored in TIFF files
from a PC to the IFS. Curious as to anyone's experience moving binary 
data.
I would think the data queue wouldn't care and that there would be no
conversion.
