Vern, Yep, he opened the "flood gate". You knew I'd respond. Thanks for your additions and validations. It's not the end-all-be-all, but REXX is VASTLY underused on the i5 and could do wonders for those needing a different and perhaps better way to do applications or utilities AND/OR SQL against DB2/400 or via DRDA to other DB2s.
