Do:

- WRKOBJLCK <user profile name used in the connection> *USRPRF
- 5
- 10
- F10
- F18

and see what the true error message says (probably authority issue).

Subject: SQL Error on CALL Proc

I've created a Procedure on my iSeries and trying to call it from SQL Server
2005 via an ODBC link. I keep getting the following error.

Msg 7357, Level 16, State 2, Line 1

Cannot process the object "call DSASHDSEL()". The OLE DB provider "MSDASQL"
for linked server "ASIODBC" indicates that either the object has no columns
or the current user does not have permissions on that object.

We are using a linked server in SQL Server to connect to an DSN on the
server using the Client Access ODBC driver. The linked server is accessing
the DSN using the Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers. I've tried
using the "IBM DB2 UDB for iSeries IBMDA400 OLE DB Provider" that SQL has as
well with the same result.
