There is no trick to do it, but back in the olden days you could configure the FSIOP as an ethernet line When creating the the NWSD you need to use the *BASE option. http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr/BOOKS/c4151231/4.0?SHELF=QB3AYC08.bks&DT=19991025154103#HDRCONFIG Then you can create the ethernet line by specifying the nwsd. You must have "Integration Services for FSIOP " licensed program loaded I think you might want to look for a 2617 or a 2810. They are SPD ethernet cards that require one slot. _____________________________ Bryan Dietz Aktion Associates "i want an i" midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote on 10/13/2006 05:36:43 PM: -> Is there are trick to configuring it -> We want to connect this tank to our network but keep getting -> a message Vary on failed with reason Code 0000200E -> "Protocol conflict between IOA and line description ETHTCP" -> We haven't used this machine in a couple of years and my -> recollection was that it was working at one time. -> But my memory is not as good as it was two years ago!
