I couldn't find a way to issue that as a parameter to a command.

One can use qsh and sed, or a Perl script to do that en masse. Here's a sample qsh script. Not tested.

#!/bin/bash

# Replace CRLF with LF

E_WRONGARGS=65

if [ -z "$1" ]
then
  echo "Usage: `basename $0` filename-to-convert"
  exit $E_WRONGARGS
fi

file="$1"
sed 's/\n/\n\r/g' $file > $file.fixed
cp -f $file.fixed $file
rm -f $file.fixed
