Obviously Mike is just being a stirrer and you fell for the bait. If indeedhe is talking about iSociety, then he is just blowing smoke.

IBM does support iSociety in its push for awareness and its work to fostercommunity. Awareness is certainly ~one~ way to increase sales.

Just because a cynic announces that IBM is relying on "user groups" toincrease sales, does not make it true. With such obvious negativity fromthese cynics and from those who engage in such speculation and conjecture,IBM is smart enough to know that "counting on" that support is not good forthe platform.

Mike  were did you see this article that  referenced User  Groups?
In other news, IBM is counting on a user group to increase sales of itsmidrange line.
