We have had this happen with two 170s in the last couple of years (we have about 160 170s in the field). Same thing - the system would shut down for no apprent reason. At first it was just once or twice a week but it kept getting worse until it was three or four times a day. We still don't know for sure what the problem was but it went away after the backplane was replaced. Albert ----- Original Message ----- From: "Douglas W. I have checked the power schedule and its ok since we typically never shut it down. About two months ago we moved the machine to a different location and did a normal power down, no problems. It IPL's ok or seems to. One thing I have noticed is that it only occurs after someone connects to the machine using client access......when using Mocha or any other client we have no problems. Suggestions or insights on what may be causing this problem?
