I've got, umm, a lot of 17GB 10K BCC/eStorage drives that are no longer
in use. About 18 or so kitted for a 730 CEC, 45 kitted for a 5065, and
28 kitted for a 720 CEC/migration tower. They all still worked when the
box they're in (V5R1) was powered off. Anyone interested in picking up
a few or a few dozen can get a hold of me off-list.

(David - If I want to make a "for sale" post for some iSeries hardware,
what forum is most appropriate? Or should I simply refrain? In
addition to the BCC stuff I've some other leftovers that others might be
interested in. Stuff that may have value to people on this list but
doesn't really interest the resellers.)

Another option, at my last employer, we purchased a 270 without any

called eStorage: http://www.estorageinc.com/index.htm )

It is my understanding that this organization no longer exists, which
has caused me a whole bunch of heartburn.

It's even more convoluted than just eStorage not existing. eStorage was
bought out by Zzyzx technologies which has subsequently gone out of
business leaving everyone with their product(s) up a creek. Luckily, we
dumped their hd's but still have a tape drive that we got fixed about a
month or so before they ceased to exist.
